Eastland Community Trust has commenced its search for two new directors, including a new Chairperson, for regional infrastructure company Eastland Group.
ECT chairman, Michael Muir, says the Trust is looking for high-quality individuals, interested in making a significant contribution to the strategic direction of the company.
“Eastland Group’s Directors are ultimately responsible for critical pieces of regional infrastructure, which in turn support the growth aspirations of our community. These are pivotal roles, and we are looking forward to selecting two strong candidates focused on providing the best returns to the shareholder, and ensuring socio-economic gains throughout the region,” he says.
The Eastland Group Board is made up of six directors, all of whom are independent. The Board of Directors sets the strategic course for the company with the assistance of Eastland Group leadership team.
As such, Mr Muir says ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate strong governance exposure and commercial acumen having worked with entities with significant scale in the energy, infrastructure or technology sector.
Eastland Community Trust, as Eastland Group’s only shareholder, has sole responsibility for appointing the Group’s Directors, each of whom completes a three-year term but can seek reappointment at the end of their tenure.
Expressions of interest are invited and should be directed to Red Consulting Group.
