New Manager Appointed For Eastland Community Trust
The Eastland Community Trust has appointed Gisborne man Leighton Evans as its general manager.
Trust chairman Gary Alexander said he was delighted to announce Leighton's appointment and he looked forward to the benefits that would come from having a dedicated resource handling trust business as a first priority.
"We recognised the trust needed to have a staff member who could focus solely on progressing opportunities and projects that would benefit the region as a whole.
Leighton set up and ran the Quality Roading Services Gisborne branch and brings to the role good commercial experience, sound management practice and a passion for this region which will be crucial for the role.
"We look forward to working with him and to sharing the trust's vision through greater networks and strong relationships.
Mr Evans starts his role on March 1.
